PSHE at Highfield
At Highfield, our PSHE curriculum aims to foster the holistic development of children by equipping them with essential life skills and promoting well-being. In Key Stage 1 (ages 5-7), students learn about emotions, friendships, and personal safety, alongside developing healthy habits. Progressing to Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11), they explore topics such as bullying prevention, consent, online safety, and financial literacy, while also learning about citizenship and making informed choices. The curriculum covers personal development, health education, and social and economic education, with ongoing assessment ensuring understanding and application of PSHE concepts in daily life. This prepares students to navigate challenges confidently and make positive contributions to society.
