Year 5/6 Clay Day!

This half term in Art, Year 5/6 have been learning about different sculptors and sculpting techniques, and this afternoon, Asia and South America classes got the clay out to have a go at some 3D modelling themselves! Inspired by last term's work on Ancient Greece, the children designed some mythical monsters of their own and made them out of clay. It took a lot of resilience and a steady hand, but the children ended up with some terrifyingly terrific results!
