South America's Class Assembly

This morning, South America put on the first class assembly of the year, and to tie in with our Literacy learning in Spring 1, it was Harry Potter themed! The concept of the assembly was that Dumbledore had heard Highfield students had been learning about the wizarding world, so he decided to have a day where all the Hogwarts students would try out muggle lessons! Accompanied by Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge, Dumbledore toured the school and learned about the Ancient Greeks, defensive skills in rugby, speaking about the planets in French and some truly SPAG-tacular grammar with Hagrid's distant cousin Spagrid. All of South America worked really hard to put on an entertaining and informative show, and were really proud of themselves afterwards!
