Animal day!

This week, we had Spirit of the Wild visit the infants to launch our KS1 science and literacy lessons, all about animals. We got up close and were able to stroke or even handle some incredible creatures like a barn owl, two baby meerkats, a skunk, a bull frog and a toad (we can now confidently say the differences between a toad and frog too!), a crested gecko, a snake, giant stick insects, a parrot and a six month old husky dog. A massive thank you for funding this educational experience for us Highfield Family and Friends! The juniors will have a very similar experience from the Sprit of the Wild on the 16th of May so start getting excited!
