Culture Week
The children travelled around the world this week exploring different cultures!
They visited:
India: they made some Rangoli art with rice, learnt some Bollywood dance moves and played a street game of marbles.
China: they decorated their own Willow plates, learnt about the symbolism of the dragon and created their own Chinese fans.
Australia: played the didgeridoo, painted some aboriginal art using dot work and used aboriginal symbols to tell a story.
Africa: learnt some African style dances, painted the African sunset and listened to some African music.
Ireland: played with different Irish instruments, made their own Celtic knots and they did some Irish dancing!
