Down Maisy mountain, mountain...
This week we started phonics lessons, and we have been learning our 'm' sound!
We explored the m sound in lots of different ways... making mermaid tails, playing and writing with mushrooms, marble rolling, m picture hunt, magnet finding, formation activities and more!
The children did a great job remembering the sound and the formation rhyme 'down Maisy, mountain, mountain'. They built their knowledge through the week and became confident hearing initial sounds in lots of different words.
