Things on strings...
One of our phonics sounds this week; "ng, ng, thing on a string"
After learning the ng sound in phonics this week, lots of children decided to make their very own things on strings. Some children even created a 'Mrs Singh on a string' after they heard the sound in her name too!
Some other words the children came up with were: sing, wing, lung, ding dong, (w)rong, king, long, swing, string and swimming!
Some children in the Badgers group wrote some super sentences today:
"The king is the bos"
"The ring is veree shIney"
"The boy is feeling angree"
