This week we began our literacy journey on The Great Kapok Tree.
It was an absolute joy to spend time with the new classes today. Everyone had so much fun, especially the teachers! We have started to build a wonderful class culture of respect and kindness. In Australasia we painted some sunflowers with watercolours. It was great to see the focus the class showed doing a still life painting plus they all turned out so differently, sharing our personalities too!
Today we explored Valley Gardens, the beautiful area within the University campus.
We had fun in 3/4 growing beans this Summer.
Oliver and the Seawigs!
In 3 and 4 we have been learning about the rich and poor Roman diets.

In year 3 and 4 science, we have been learning about digestion and even pretended to BE food, moving through the digestive system. We can now name the organs involved and some of their functions. Well done 3/ 4.
A big thank you to Dr Chapman and his fellow scientist Anastasia who came in to talk to year 3 and 4 today.
