Our Commitment to Anti-Racism

At Highfield Primary School, racism has no place. We are committed to being an actively anti-racist school, where every child and adult feels safe, respected, and valued.

Guided by our school values – Peace, Courage and Respect – we:

• teach children to stand up against racism and prejudice,

• celebrate diversity and ensure every voice is heard,

• challenge bias in our curriculum and policies,

• and work together with families and the community to build a culture of belonging.

Anti-racism is not a one-off activity but part of everything we do – in our teaching, behaviour expectations, staff training, and partnerships. By embedding equity, dignity and justice across school life, we help every child to thrive and believe they can make a difference.
