Narrative writing!

This week in Literacy, the children have been writing fantastic narratives inspired by Wild Boy. To help plan their writing, they took to the playground and worked in pairs to plot the route their characters would take, discussing their actions and noticing objects they could describe along the way. This practical planning had a brilliant impact on their finished pieces, with fantastic description and strong cohesion throughout. Taking the time to physically plot their journeys and talk through their ideas really brought their writing to life, and the results have been fantastic!
