Sketching

This week, the children were sketching their final piece in art, a portrait of their partner. Over the term, the children have looked at how to create tone and shadow by using different grades of pencil and noticing the direction of light. They then focused on how to accurately use proportion to make their sketches realistic. We have been so impressed with how talented they are!
