NSPCC VISIT

Highfield Primary School Welcomes the NSPCC's 'Speak out. Stay safe.' Programme

We were delighted to recently host the NSPCC's fantastic and informative 'Speak out. Stay safe.' programme at Highfield.

The assemblies and workshops, delivered by the charity's dedicated team and their friendly mascot, Buddy the speech bubble, were designed to equip all our pupils with the crucial knowledge and skills they need to stay safe.

It is a sad fact that in the average primary school class, at least two children have suffered abuse or neglect, which is why the NSPCC's work is so vital. The programme's key aim is to empower children, helping them to understand that abuse is never their fault and they always have the right to be safe and get help if they need it.
