Fireworks

The children followed the Golden Goal: 'Be safe! When discussing how we keep ourselves safe around fireworks.

"We stand far away"

"We wear gloves if we're holding a sparkler."

"They are loud.  If they are really loud, you can put your hands on your ears because then your ears don't hurt!"

"Put the sparkler in the water or the sand at the end."

The children made some fantastic firework art and discussed their favourite ones using lots of explorative vocabulary.
