Dear Grandma…Love Jessie……

Some super editing has exuded a strong array of letters in yr3/4! In relation to our text for the half term: When Jessie Came Across The Sea, the children have written in role as Jessie to Grandma back home. The children have developed their Target Steps linked to editing and their writing targets. They also improved their feedback to others as they gave ‘Kind, Helpful & Specific’ feedback to their peers in relation to the impact upon the reader – thinking about the writing first of all making sense and As Standard, and then word choices and sentence structures to paint a picture in the reader’s mind. Some great editing and supporting each other using our different skills, so ‘Nobody Left Behind’.
